According to a recent study published in The FASEB Journal, found that diets rich in omega-3 protect the liver damage caused by the obesity and insulin resistance.
This research should be taken by doctors and nutritionists as valuable information, to recommend the formulation of subsistence to lose weight and help explain why some obese patients are more likely to suffer complications associated with obesity.
As we know the omega-3 can be found in fish and canola oil, “the study shows for the first time the lipids resolving called protections and derivatives of fatty acids omega-3 may reduce cases of liver complications, such as hepatic steatosis and insulin resistance, in obese people,” said Joan Claria, a professor at the University of Barcelona and one of the researchers involved in work.
