Getting pregnant is something that can give meaning the life of a woman. Having a baby is a dream for virtually all women, and of course that the basis of consolidation of a family. However, unfortunately, many times the infertility is a problem that many women have the misfortune to pass, and that turns its dream to ashes.

The fact is that many of these women in reality seeking have children in an advanced age of their lives. In fact, we must take into account that as regards to fertility 40 years is a barrier from which the chances of getting pregnant descend rapidly. But why older women are more infertile?

The answer to this provide researchers at the University of St. Andrews and the University of Edinburgh, who have studied the fertility rate of several older women and children under 30 years, reaching the conclusion that after the 30 fertility declines by a natural mechanism for the use of the ovaries.
