To protect children’s teeth, cleaning is of vital importance to oral hygiene. The oral hygiene in children is very important to keep teeth healthy.

Inflammation and red gums, anger, nervousness and the fact bite all, are some unmistakable signs that indicate that your baby is about to get his first tooth. A total of 20 baby teeth, also called primary, begin to emerge and grow during the first six or eight months. Then, when they turn six or seven years, baby teeth fall out and are replaced by secondary or permanent teeth. We tried some tips below to make a good care of teeth in our children.

During the months preceding the onset of their first teeth to remove bacteria that nest on the gums, use small water-soaked gauze.

When teeth begin to emerge, rub the teeth and gums with a soft toothbrush and small. To neutralize the bacteria, just use water. Using toothpaste is not necessary, but must do so from the time the child turns one year old.

The main threat to the teeth is the sugar, and oral hygiene in children should take this into account. Sweets and biscuits are a danger, as sugary substances contained in these foods dissolve in the mouth; stay too long in contact with teeth. The plaque bacteria absorb these sugars and produce acids that in turn cause cavities. (more…)

There are several Methods to stop smoking, but not all work. This is because every smoker is different, and its mechanisms to quit depending on their nature, will and potential to do so. Thus, there is no universal method to quit smoking, but this could be one to prevent the return of ex-smoking habit.

This is a vaccine for smoking cessation, which arises from an agreement made by GlaxoSmithKline and Nabi Pharmaceuticals, two companies that have put the money to develop the NicVAX, a vaccine that is under development but could be on the market in a future.

The vaccine works by creating antibodies in the body, which trap the nicotine molecules and prevent them from reaching the brain through the blood, thus preventing the same cause the sensation of pleasure associated with smoking.

Since almost 90% of former smokers return to smoking a year of leaving, this vaccine could mean an outstanding solution for them. One of the challenges of ex-smoker is staying quit. This vaccine would ensure that, in the case of back to try a cigarette, ex-smokers feel no pleasure in doing so and therefore will not fall into the habit.
